Day 1: Hanoi (D foodietour)

Activities:

Arrive in Hanoi, Walk through streets in Hanoi Old Quarter, Enjoy the famous Vietnamese dishes

Welcome to Hanoi, the heart of Vietnam which is considered as a blend between the traditional and the modern beauties. 
At Noi Bai Airport, our guide and driver will welcome then take you to your hotel to do check-in. 
At 17:00 pm, our guide will pick up at your hotel and walk to the Hanoi Old Quarter Area to start the journey discovering the local food world and local life of Hanoi. 
The best way to approach a culture is to explore its cuisine. This tour helps you discover the ancient Hanoi old quarter throught tasting its authentic local street food From Nom (Vietnamese salad with beef), Pho (Beef noodle), Bun Cha (Vietnamese grilled pork with vemicelli) and end up with Ca Phe Trung – a blend of coffee and egg whites, folded with sugar. Seasonal Mixed Fruits is an option for who don’t “dare” to give Egg coffee a shot.

Day 2: Hanoi, Sapa (B/L)

Activities:

Drive from Hanoi to Sapa; Visit Ta Phin Red Dzao village; Walk around village and enjoy great view of the valley; Back to Sapa

After breakfast, our tour guide & car pick you at your hotel and transfer to Sapa following the newly built highway of “Noi Bai- Lao Cai” in 5 hour scenic drive – a great journey to enjoy beautiful scenery of Vietnam’s northwest highland 
Arrive in Sapa & have lunch in a local restaurant. 
After lunch, we drive to Ta Phin commune, 14km southeast of Sapa town. Located in a large valley, surrounded by high mountains, which covered by pine trees and forest, Ta Phin commune is home to the Red Dzao and Black H’mong ethnics. Although living closed to each other for decades, these two ethnic people are very different: The H’mong are cheerful and open minded while the Red Dzao are economical and reserved. Taking a short drive to the center of the valley, you will enjoy an easy walk following village path around the valley, paying visit to H’mong hamlets scattering from the bottom of the valley to higher mountain slopes. From high elevation, great view of the valley stretching under your feet. Continue your walk to the Red Dzao village in which you will meet groups of women making handicrafts includes embroidered clothes, handbags…
After that transferring back to Sapa.

Explore the Ta Phin Red Dzao village

Ta Phin village is one of ideal attractions in Sapa because of its unspoiled sceneries, well-remained culture and special traditions of Red Dzao ethnic group. Nestled in a beautiful and pristine valley, Ta Phin is far from the busy streets of Sapa. Walking around the village, tourists can easily catch sights of Red Dzao women in very beautiful and colorful dress made from brocade gathering together with threads and cloths in their hands. The local people are quite friendly and hospitable, some can speak English very well which help tourists know more about the customs, traditions, and culture of the ethnic community.

Day 3: Sapa (B/L)

Activities:

Stop at magnificent Silver Waterfall, Heaven Gate and Tram Ton Pass; Walk around to enjoy breathtaking scenery; Visit O Quy Ho; Back to hotel

Meet your guide and driver for a leisure trip. The drive uphill offers most spectacular scenery of Fansipan Mount. Just a kilometer out of the town, rose flower farms and later chayote grows on bamboo frames covered a vast area. We’ll stop at the magnificent Silver Waterfall before continue the road trip for some kilometers further to Heaven Gate and Tram Ton Pass. At 2047m above sea level, the Heaven Gate & Tram Ton Pass is the highest mountain pass in Vietnam. From here enjoy walking around for half an hour for beautiful scenery of both two side of Hoang Lien Son mountain range. The wind blows stronger to force the clouds moving constantly. It is the best point here to enjoy breathtaking scenery of the two side of Fansipan Mountain Range. Amazingly that the weather is very different by the side: In many days It is foggy and cloudy on Sa Pa side and sunny brightly the other side. 
Leaving the Heaven Gate for the way back downhill 7 km, then stop to pay visiting to some lush farm in O Quy Ho where different kind of vegetable, flower, fruit trees and even medicinal plants are grown for years which makes this part of Sapa ever green. 
Transfer back to Sapa and trip ends with drop off at hotel.

Capture magnificent views from the heavenly Tram Ton Pass

Most people concentrate on the rice terraces and the valley. Take few hours to drive uphill for a short drive from Sapa town to Tram Ton Pass. Well worth the effort. Breathtaking views of the valley. You are going to be really overwhelmed with the beauty of the area and the incredible views from the winding road of Tram Ton Pass.

Witness the scenic Silver Waterfall

Silver Waterfall is far about 15 kilometers from Sapa toward Lai Chau; tourists take approximately 30 minutes by motorbike or bus to visit one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Vietnam. The scenery along the way, the pine forest, and the ‘su su’ spread over the hills. With more than 100 meters high, white water poured down the stream. Walk up 400 steps to the top. There are plenty to views on the way up and down for photo sessions. The water has a pristine look to it. There are various wild plantain and cardamom trees on both sides. Guests can soak in the cool stream, wash all worries, chat, and relax under the shade of green trees.

Day 4: Sapa, Hanoi (B/L)

Activities:

Visit Coc Ly Market; Travel by boat downstream; meet the locals before reaching Trung Do Village & Bao Nhai Bridge; Arrive Hanoi

After having breakfast, you will travel by car to Coc Ly market.  You arrive in Coc Ly by the time where the market is the most crowded. Coc Ly market locates by the Chay River, which flows from China. Every Tuesday morning, minorities from surrounding villages such as Flower Hmong, Black Zao and Tay, gather to sell and buy their products. 
After visiting the market, you travel by boat downstream. Along the ride, you can enjoy magnificent sight of the beautiful caves and life on the riverbank. You will have lunch on a beach or later in a village. The trip will also offers you a visit to Trung Do village of Tay minority, where you can stop by a traditional Tay house for a cup of tea. You will go further downstream until you arrive to Bao Nhai Bridge
Here you get on the car for the journey back to Hanoi.

The alternative local markets will be replaced depending upon your departure
In case the level of water is not able to take boat trip, you can change to take a buffalo cart in Trung Do village instead.

Experience an amazing and fantastic Coc Ly Market

Coc Ly Market is held on every Tuesday. Though it is not a big market, Coc Ly plays an extremely important role to ethnic minorities in the west of Bac Ha. This is the rendezvous for meeting, goods exchanging, and purchasing of Hoa (Chinese) Mong, Dao Den (Black Dao) and Nung ethnic people. Goods sold in the market is the local products and utensils brought from the plains or imported from China. In addition, the market is a meeting place to display affection and feelings of ethnic minorities. Not merely exchanging goods, Coc Ly Market is one of the few markets in Sapa still retaining its traditional cultural features.

Day 5: Hanoi, Halong Bay (B/L/D)

Activities:

Transfer to Ha Long Bay; Experience kayak or swim in the Bay; Join in cooking class on board, Stay overnight on cruise

08.00 AM: Our driver will pick you up at the hotel, departing 3.5 hours to Halong Bay – the World Natural Heritage recognized by UNESCO twice. Upon arrival, embark the cruise and enjoy welcome drink while having tour briefing. A sumptuous lunch will be served on board while the ship sailing further to the Bay, make your time to admire its dramatic limestone islands. 
You can rest at your leisure on the sundeck or relax in your cabin. In the afternoon, you will have time to swim in the warm and calm water or get on kayaks of your choice. Kayaking is very easy for all levels and ages to do. Our expert and experienced guide surely instruct you basic paddling steps before leading you to explore the extraordinary beauty of Halong Bay. After 01 hour exploring the bay, we will get back to the cruise for relaxation before attending Cooking class in the late afternoon.

We will continue our journey on Halong Bay in early morning. A Tai Chi Class on the sun deck is a must that you should not miss when on cruise. 
Sitting on the upper deck; you can relaxsight-seeing while taking photos of the magnificent beauty of the rocky islands rising from the emerald water of the bay. 
After breakfast, we will explore Sung Sot cave – one of the finest and widest grottoes of Halong Bay. Next keep cruising and passing the fishing village with its unique way of life. 
At 10.30 AM, our boat cruises back to the jetty, and you will enjoy the last moment in the bay before having a traditional Vietnamese lunch.
You leave the boat around 12:00 at noon, we go ashore and transfer back to Hanoi for your departure flight. End of services.
